Kettel: My Dogan

Kettel is the Dutchman Reimer Eising (1982), who produces high quality electronic music of the subtle, dreamy and soothing kind. Eising has been around for a while. In 2001 he released his first record Dreim, on the mysterious USA-bases Kracfive label. Since then he produced albums and tracks for several compilations en remix-cd’s. His music is often being compared with the likes of Aphex Twin. But Kettel is Kettel. A talented musician with his own vision.

The eighteen electronic compositions sound sparkling, colourful and warm. Laidback and dreamy, but also surprisingly dynamic and with a lot of variety. Uplifting and light-hearted, but at the same time very rich sounding and with a lot of depth. My Dogan is as fresh as a summer breeze. And yes, there is some birds-whistling on it.
